Pennsylvania State Police troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a motorcyclist who proceeded to flee and get into a minor crash on Sunday, June 12, according to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.
It is alleged that the suspect, Bloomsburg resident Robert Slusser, Jr., proceeded to steal a trooper’s police vehicle at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Sunday afternoon and fled into Emmitsburg in Frederick County on Route 15 before bailing from the vehicle in the area of North Seton Avenue. The stolen vehicle was located on Depaul Street in Emmitsburg after Slusser abandoned it. A few minutes later, police said that there was a reported crash involving a motorcycle that was reported on North Seton Avenue in Emmitsburg.

At the time of the crash, Slusser had three open warrants out for his arrest throughout Pennsylvania for theft, investigators noted.
On Monday, June 13, Slusser was charged by the Frederick County Sheriff's Office with:
